Another long drive due to incredible Quebec road constructions, dealers had quite a good show, meet a few good friends great to catch up, saw our version of a dime struck on a nail, a parliament loonie struck on a washer and a nut kind of cool

I was at the RCNA for most of the week-end. Attended a few meetings, was able to see met great friends, learn more about nice pieces and was able to purchase few pieces to fill my collection. A BIG Thank You to all the volunteers for a job well done and the dealers for being available. Looking forward to attend next year. Thedollarman, mark your calendar... next RCNA is Auguts 8-11 in Mississauga.

Bumping this a little: is the Boucherville show good for UK coins, or is it mainly Canadian/US ?
Thanks

Hello stliboire The RCNA Convention moves from one city to another every year. In 2018, it will be in Mississauga https://rcna.ca/2018/index.phpThe Association des numismates et des philatelistes de Boucherville (ANPB) holds monthly events http://www.anpb.net/index.php?action=activ but it certainly ain't as big as the RCNA Convention. Not in a position to say if these meetings are good targets for coins from Great Britain as I've never attended. Hoping to attend one in 2018...

I'm thinking of going this Sunday, It will be my first show. I assume there will be all sorts of coins from all over the world with over 30 dealers in attendance.
If not, you are for sure to increase your network and find dealers that will have what your looking for and possibly purchase or sell UK coins outside of the show.
