I had not sent in any coins in awhile but took advantage of the last special and sent in 5 Morgans for $75 plus $9 for an extra coin, a 1882CC GSA dollar.
The 1882CC GSA grade was MS63 DMPL.( population 4) Photo not up yet. I was surprised ANACS has none graded higher with the DMPL for this date.
The other 5 coins were all 1881-S Morgans...I sent in for possible DMPL results were 1-MS63 DMPL Cameo, 1-MS64 PL Cameo, 1 MS-63PL, 1-MS64 and the gem of the lot.
1881-S MS64 DMPL Cameo (pop 7) none graded higher with the DMPL and Cameo designation from ANACS.
Just thought I would share (photo does it no justice)
Nice. The reason the pops are low is because DMPL Morgans sell for a bit more in same grade PCGS holders so crossing them or just sending to PCGS first makes a lot of sense.
