Dear Collegues,

I've bought this coin years ago in the US as I recognised it was 1/4 Stüber of 174X, Cologne, Germany under Elector Clemens August of Bavaria (my area of collection).
The coin has obviously been overstruck with an eagle and some text, but nobody was able to ID the overstrike yet. Av/Rv are 180°.

Can anyone ID the overstrike? People assumed french occupational coinange (Rhineland under Napoleon), US early revolutionary but no reference has been found so far.

For reference: This is the coin it was before the overstrike:

Thanks in advance,

Just found a similar overstrike based on an other coin, french napoleonic tax adminsitration token. Normally only found as a lead seal or stamp, but the token seems to be very rare. Could not find others.
