Hey guys, I know I've been here a few years but I thought I'd ask for your opinions on this. I got a bill with the serial number 95999962 in really good condition today. Only 38 bills with higher numbers were issued for circulation and I was wondering if there's any value in this kind of bill. Any ideas?
Rest in Peace

Nice! If it's a $1, keep it.

I would hold it. I like to keep notes that are collectible (in my mind) but do not necessarily have a fancy S/N. Good find! Please post a photo if possible, Thanx.

Serial-Number-95999962

High serial number for a note plucked from circulation, nice find, but not a keeper in my world.

It wasn't that long ago when serial numbers went as high as 99840000 (series 1977), and before that they went all the way up to 99999999. This note displayed was cut from a sheet, and series 1981 is when the BEP decided to get back into selling one dollar uncut sheets to the public. They actually got back into sheets with the reintroduced, retooled 1976 $2 notes.

Thanks for your opinions, it's too late for me to keep it at this point because it has my Where's George stamps on it now!
