It's notgeld - well grossgeld because of the high denomination. 'Gutschein'is a giveaway and this word pops up a lot on notgeld/grossgeld - translates to coupon. Issued by the Bavarian state Bank. Joseph7420 Bedrock of the Community Canada 11922 Posts	Posted 07/29/2017 11:28 pm I am not sure which catalogue it could possibly be in, but just reading the banknote, it is a 500 billion mark note from 1923. It would be from Bavaria, but more specifically from Munich. A link to a similar note can be found here. I say similar because your serial number is red, whereas the one in the link is black; I cannot seem to find a picture of a red one. Report this Post to the Staff
