Hello,

Does anyone know the value of this note and is it worth purchasing? Or are specimens valuable only when the number is solid 00000000 or 12345678?

The vast majority of Specimen notes I've seen, regardless of the denomination, have serial number 23456789 .

Most sell for $1,100 and up, depending on the grade.

To answer your title question, is that note worth $1000 or more to you.
I suspect there's a very small market for specimen notes.
That would keep the price down BUT make selling at a later date difficult.
