I was thinking at first that this was Machine Doubling, but I am now thinking that it is a double die. What are your opinions? Both 1's in the date look like this. The 9 & 2 look normal. Both of the 1's were effected in the same direction, but not the 9 and the 2, they both look normal. I would have expected all of the date to be effected if it were MD, not just the first and last digit. There are other spots on the coin that are DD so I wasn't sure. Report this Post to the Staff
