This coin is currently listed on Vcoins, do you guys think this is real, cause I fell for quite a few fakes of these?

Looks "worked worn" Justin. I don't like the "dots" on obvers at 10m o'clock that are supposed to be denticles? It does look "soft and mushy"?

I have no research on this Chinese rupee but I know there are many varieties on these coins. There are also high silver and low silver issues. The weight is somewhat accurate at a bit lower than 11.6 grams. Your coin looks right; is also silver-made and not magnetic I guess. I have no telltale to point it is fake.

Yep I was scared about those dots too, on genuine examples those are denticles.

These have many varities, I have a few myself but can't be 100% sure they are real, some refer to the discussed coin as 'monkey face' variety.

Is there any site or book with information on the varities ?

Have a good look at Google Images for examples to help make up your mind if authentic or no.
I must admit I don't have the knowledge to say 'yes' or 'no' from pictures alone.
