Evening all, new member here.
Recently inherited a purse full of old coins, dating from a Penny 1860 (VERY WORN) to things such as 1927 HALF PENNY & German coins. I have absolutely no idea what to do with these coins, all I know is that they came from a gentleman who served in WW2.
Was hoping somebody could tell me about some of the coins and what I should do with them, have emailed a few auction houses and coin websites to try and see what they're worth. Have seen a couple of the Half Pennys sell for £50-£100ish.
I'm gonna drop the list that I've got here and hopefully someone can help me out, have got pictures of them all and uploaded them into a ZIP on a free hosting site hope that's ok.

Thanks in advance guys.

You could try this free price guide from NGC: https://www.NGCcoin.com/price-guide/world/ You will have to get used to the conventions they use. For example, most of the time you don't spell out quantities (e.g. use "1/2 penny", not "half penny" to search). For Italy use "lira" for one and "lire" for more than one (i.e. "100 lire" - not "lira"). Use "netherlands", not "nederland" If "REICHSPFENNIG" doesn't work in your search, try just "pfennig". You will also need to get some idea of grading standards and varieties.

I almost forgot. Often the prices given are inflated and assume the coin has been graded and certified.

Hello and

None of the British coins you've listed are rare or particularly valuable, although some of the older ones could be if in almost perfect condition. The 1932 British threepence and 1940 Canadian 10 cents are silver, so have some bullion value.

The German coins will all have a mintmark (a letter A, D, E, F, G or J) which can affect the scarcity and value.

The British coins will be mostly low value

Maybe upload a few photos of the better condition coins?

Also, maybe a photo of that unknown coin
