Hello, Please would you give me your grade on this 1994 Penny? Also does it look like the mint mark has been struck twice?

Thank you.

It is not possible for the mint mark to have been struck twice. Mintmarks have been part of the die since 1989. Can't see what you are talking about, but it sounds like MD. (I am a novice at grading so this might be inaccurate) MS64 RD

Grade, AU 55, Wear on coat, tie, rim dings and carbon spots on reverse. The doubled MM is called "split plate doubling, a form of MD which causes that because of pressure, thin plating and vibration.

Benja , It's called old school teachings . However in my opinion there's a small line of definition between Mint State and Uncirculated . I'm also old school when it comes to CRH finds . Unfortunately there are about 98% of CCF members who disagree .
