John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 07/31/2017 11:44 am to CCF. Weight a few different coins and make sure your scale is right. A copper cent will weigh 3.11 grams and a copper plated 2.5 grams. Mint tolerance is .13 grams +/-. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe something like a small stone was pressed into the coin? But with the damage, it cancels all premium for it. spendable. Report this Post to the Staff
