We picked up some coins the other day and have asked on another web site any information that could be given on them. A coin buyer answered the email and offered to purchase within 2 minutes of posting so not sure if they have any value? not sure if images have loaded correctly as only half would load. As you can tell it is my first post so any help much appreciated,

A lot of these appear counterfeit. Where'd you get them?

We bought them from a trader that sold old coins and medals(he was Polish)!
However we have had someone else look at them who thinks they are real and told us to try this site for the silver dollars as there maybe someone that can ident them. We are even more confused now.

to CCF. You joined the best site. Post one coin at a time, front and back.

yes you would need to post them one at a time, but I suspect, you have a bunch of fake coins here. what did you pay for everything, that would help out as well.

sounds like part of the "scam"! Answer him and tell him you will take double of what you paid for them. I'm thinking you won't get a reply!! Ask BEFORE you buy if you can get pictures. Once you buy we can't help , unfortunately.
Rest in Peace

Unfortunately, I have to agree that the photos you've shown are low quality fakes.

Looks like a couple of hobo nickels in the group? Those may be real, but they look like contemporary versions.

cliff.

I'm sorry but I have to agree. These coins have the look of cast counterfeits.
Do you own a good magnet and scale?

Many of these are clearly fake (the sovereigns that appear to be brass worst of all) so for now, assume that every coin here is fake. Get your money back if you can!

I agree that the hobo nickels are most probably real, albeit made very recently. They are artworks and have value as such, but there is no numismatic value for hobo nickels, except for the originals made in the 30s and 40s.

The Hobos are also for sale on (Not Allowed) Express. Which makes them also fake.

No value on the hobo nickels. A search on ebay or any Chinese product website will show the same nickels for sale. Chances are they're using fake Buffalo nickels as well.
