Nice find!...where? Doesn't seem to have seen many travels, but some rubs on highs. Pix don't give accurate color or luster, carbon spots perhaps? Would look very nice filling the '72 DDO hole in my album(hint )! I say MS 62 RB(?) if pulled from OBW, AU-58 slider if CRH.

Where a coin is found has nothing to do with the grade. If you sent that coin in to be slabbed they would give it (A) grade on the label,eg MS-60 and not AU-50 if found CRHing. John1

I freed it to show the color a little better. It has a great copper color and full RD. Biggest issue is a small Carbon spot on his cheek which is not really noticeable unless under magnification. And on the reverse a hit to the bottom of the stairs. TPG worth it?

John1 How many hands has it been thru, far as I'm concerned, once it has left mint transport to Fed, it is in the realm of being circulated. Why else do the big boys snatch batches of mint releases to TPG hoping for the perfect MS70 and toss off anything less than MS68 into the general market?
