G'day from Oz,
I get a lot of items from USA.
A few have gone missing. Not many. None of high value. What I have noticed is -
"Priority" is slower than "First class".
While USPS has its critics, the private couriers give less service. UPS cannot locate Australia.

i mail all items as first class and put on a confermation .it only cost 50 cents more then you know they got it!they even bend the envolopes to see if the are flxable.it the machines for the mail.any way they also told me there is no ins for money.for to have ins you need to send it by reg mail to put ins on it.that will cost 10.00 or more with the ins.i had some one pay for a ebay item from the state of iowa to ill and this letter took 21 days.i could drive there in 3 hours.no wonder they want to charge more they want to go slower. any time I mail out the items to some I say I mailed it by snail mail!

I have received quite a few items also, from the U.S. lately, Haven't had any problems so far, I just received one from California and it only took 6 working days

As, for putting on customs declaration slip, just say Hobby Supplies, Numismatic Items, I had one parcel come that said COINS on it, and it had been partly cut open.
