2001 P LC With A Bad Case Of A Misaligned Obverse Die (Worse Case)

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 75073 Posts	Posted 08/04/2017 11:42 pm I found this a long time ago in a circulated roll from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. This is the worse case of a Misaligned Die I have ever encountered making this one a keeper for sure. You can see at Lincoln's bust how far gone the rim is. I don't think I'll find another one this bad in a long time. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 08/04/2017 11:56 pm Surprised it doesn't have beginning finning. Usually when that far off, you see some portion starting second ring. Wonder if that may be because strike wasn't a real heavy hit?
