Hi folks,
I've been trying to open the Vcoins.com site all morning, and while it's there, it just says "Failed to init application".
Is it just me, or is the site having some sort of problem?

I'm having the same problem this morn. I'm blaming Echizento. He was having issues trying to access VCoins the other day...I think he started it and now it's spreading.

Thanks for the confirmation! I'm glad it's not just me. I was thinking I might have some nasty kind of virus.

It's been like this since I woke up about 5 hours ago. It's weird because the website isn't actually down - it's just that all the webpages on the site are showing that "Failed to init application" message.

Yes I also have had issues. Vcoins pages would show up during my google searches, but then I couldn't actually open them.

It's still down. It's been 8 hours now. Weird! I'm glad I wasn't thinking of buying any coins today.

to the community I just checked and it's still down. Either they are having server issues or they have been hacked.

Is it down or is it still up but bugged? For me, the site is up, but it's showing that one sentence "Failed to init application". I'm not getting a server down notice.

Confirmed up and running again. If I am considering a more expensive ancient coin purchase, I always do due diligence first, by referring to the Vcoins site first, for price comparison on similar coins. I then go to public auction and submit a single written fixed price bid for the coin that I may be interested in. I really prefer examining a coin in hand first, before making a decision to bid. Can't do this with ebay. The benefit for Vcoins, is that I may go for the similar coin that may be offered by Vcoins instead.
