I should start getting my pictures ready. Quote: I'll try to remember to post my 1885 CC in PCGS 65 .
Is that the one you listed for sale here on CCF?

We have a Trade dollar thread scheduled to start on Monday... http://goccf.com/t/293924We typically try to have only one of these going at a time. I am waiting to see what the Generalissi-Moe says. I might have to delay the start of this one until the following week.

It really does not bother me, it is just how they have been run in the past, but I do think having one at a time allows us to give each program the attention and appreciation they deserve. Since Moe has been shepherding the Days of threads I will defer to his opinion.

Personally I'd rather see the Trade dollars done first since I don't recall that one ever having been done. Obviously, I love Morgans, but it's nice to appreciate other coin series such as the Trade dollars of which it is doubtless quite a few of our members own an example; this gives the rest of CCF to view these important dollars and also provides a nice gallery of originals to help members learn to distinguish genuine examples. Of course, like Dr. Jbuck says, it's up to the Generalissi-moe. Just thought I'd weigh in with my Two Cents (on the dollar.)

Morgans seem to dominate U.S. coin collecting IMO. It is a major and expensive job to complete the set. It tends to distract from other coins and I don't know why except you can buy a 135 year old coin in Unc. condition for less than 100 dollars. You will search long and hard to find other coins that old in mint condition for the same money.
