Congrats! Did you just order them recently or did you order them some time ago and they just came in?

I wonder if they are still sending out the reverse errors. I read somewhere that they have since searched for all the errors in an effort to send out any more. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, darn. If not, order up!

Has anyone checked the 2006-W?

Would be funny if there were less 2008 Reverses than 2007 reverses, therefore making the 2008 reverse more collectible.... I know I'm dreaming huh :)

After reading about the 2008 ASE with the 2007 reverse, I checked and mine all had the 2008 reverse. But, I figured what the heck, and ordered one more on 4/26. Just got it today and I lucked out. It has the 2007 reverse! Now I'm kind of wondering which reverse is the rare one. Seems like a lot of each so it'll be interesting to see some final tallies. As a side note - I do watch those coin shows on TV. Never buy anything, but love looking at the coins! Anyway, the young guy (can't remember his name) believes that the 2007 reverse dies were only used one day, and possibly only one eight hour shift, so only up to 47,000 were coined this way. Of course, this all goes along with their sales pitch of how rare this particular coin will be! I think I'll wait for more unbiased counts.

A recent article in Coin World confirms that number of around 47,000. The US Mint researched this and determined that one days worth of production is estimated to be have the 2007 reverse on the 2008-W ASE.

I saw on the much hated and despised "Coin Shop" on tv that they were selling these.....of course for an UNGODLY price ! So, you're so lucky if yours came that way from the U.S.Mint without having to order them from "Coin Shop" or HSN or something ! They showed close ups of the reverse details proving it was the '07 reverse on the '08 Eagle and of course said everything they could to validate their "prices" and how quickly these would be gone !... .........and people were certainly buying them out right then and there !...
