A Sestertius Of Philip That I Cannot Attribute.

oriole Pillar of the Community Canada 5290 Posts	Posted 08/12/2017 1:24 pm I have what appears to be a sestertius of Philip (weight 17.0 grams, diameter 28 millimeters), but I cannot find a matching inscription in the literature. Coin forum, can you work your magic identification skills? This side, as you can see, is almost corroded away but it appears to be a standing figure and it looks like the letters P M S C on the left. This side has a legend I can partially read. A ? indicates that there is a letter but I cannot read it. IMP?V?PHILIPPVS?AVGPM Report this Post to the Staff
