Quote: A dime is OK -- nothing says that only tiny coins are allowed for this challenge. True. but I do have things smaller (for example, the Half Dimes and Three Cent coins in my 7070). I just do not have the photos that show them well.

By some strange coincidence, I just posted my newest, smallest coin here: http://goccf.com/t/257235&whichpage=46#2692295It is a a 1/96 Stater from Ionia that dates back to 625 to 600 BC. The diameter is between 4 and 4.5 mm, so 4 points for me this round I think. Sorry about the poor quality pics--I'm not very good at shooting gold (don't get much practice). Maybe I need a microscope set-up.

I don't know the actual diameter, but I know it's not the smallest! Here is my "fantasy" California Fractional Gold 1/2 dollar: I can get the measurement tomorrow.

@chafemasterj, the Netherlands 10 cent coins are 15mm. Still a classic tiny coin though!

My smallest coin is likely the Haiti one at far right in the sig photo. For size comparison, refer to the Barber dime. Unless one of those ridiculous shrunken USA modern fantasy tokens counts. But it would take a day or more to dig the ones I have out of deep storage.
