Hey Mont, your pix are getting pro quality! Great layouts and presentation!

Thanks Crazyb0

The last one I posted above was taken a while ago. Before I got my Jansjos I believe. But the token I played in the last round was taken the day I uploaded it. I have diffused my lights and then put a clear piece of plexiglass in between my lights and my camera. It seems to spread the light more evenly.

@Mont

My comment was really more of a pun because it's a World coin. Your pics are great.

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

For today's offering, we have a medal commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Crysler's Farm in 1813, one of the battles of the war of 1812. At the time, the United States and Britain (Canada) were enemies. Fortunately we are good friends now!

This medal is silver, with a diameter of 40 mm and a weight of 44 grams.

This is another "match the features" contest. Each element matched gets a point:

A medal
Anything made of silver
Anything 38 mm or bigger (US silver dollar sized)
Anything commemorating a battle
150th anniversary
Years and dates:
1813
1963
November
11 or 11th
Pictures:
Horses
Troops
Wagons
Guns
These words:
Battle
War
Crysler or Chrysler
Montreal
United States
Canada or Canadian
Britain or British
General
Colonel

Bonus 2 points: If the wording on the medal is inconsistent like on this one. It says Crysler's farm on one side and Chrysler's Field on the other.

So this medal would garner 24 points.

Closing time: May 17th, 7 pm

Congrats, Oriole!

I got a pewter Revolutionary war medal in a random lot once; can't remember what it has or if it would get a lot of points. At any rate, I think this may be my best:

Rome, Emperor Gallienus (253-268)
GERMANICVS MAX V

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

- Silver
- Commemorative of a battle
- Bound enemy troops beneath trophy

Surely I have more than 3 points for some other coin?

@chafe, points for:
medal
size
United states
Troops
Guns
5 points so far
Would you consider this the commemoration of a battle or are there wagons here for the 6th point?
