Did it used to be a 7 holer? Are those two cross pieces broken?
Awesome it's something from the family.

How 'bout these. #1) is I think what Spence was looking for, an official "Lucky Penny". Note the oblong hole. In the 1840's they're were more rounded edges for Carpentry nails, now horse tack was still square, which is found in rural areas more readily, especially so on JohnnyHouses and Barns. We raised mules here in MO. #2) very well could be too, it is plugged and quite beat up, door jam coin? 1) 1849 Lg Cent 2) 1856 Lg Cent

Updated leaderboard: Chafemasterj 1 point Pepactonius 1 point Arkie 3 points Crazyb0 0.1 pity point Dorado 1 point Joseph7420 4 points Mysilveryears 5 points Dorado 0.1 point A new leader, but remember that your entry Must be a coin or token to accrue points (not a button). PMD holes will similarly not get you points beyond 0.1.

I think I had a transit token with three holes, but can't seem to find it. How about a coin made with a hole, then punched out to make another, smaller holed coin?

@finn, please refresh my memory. That was done as part of an official remonetization or devaluation effort, right (not just PMD)?
