Well Dave, you have me stumped on this one, since unloading my world coins(except silver), tokens and medals in 2016, don't have much of anything left. When I get them, I give them!

Sooo.....in the hopes I'll receive a half point participation prize...my fragile self-esteem may greatly damaged if you don't! I present a non-jewely ready coin with TWO holes, most likely used as s "whizzer", a child's toy, with string through the holes, made noise!

I do not have many tokens, but out of all the ones I own, I think this one is my favourite. It also just happens to be the token I own with the most holes.

I found it listed somewhere as a Manitoba transit token from 1932.

I am not sure what the expected answer is, but I found this interesting topic about coins being nailed to door jambs (and many other things):

http://goccf.com/t/61487

A response that caught my eye as to specifics is this:

I am not sure if intentionally damaging a coin for a customary purpose deserves a point or not.

Edit: I haven't posted an entry, yet, but I will in the next couple days.

Yeah I'm thinking that I was a bit too oblique with this, but will explain my line of thinking when the contest is over and we have our winner.
