Quote: Ok super! I was kinda hoping to get a couple entries from 1982 or 1882 too. Anyone? Here's another entry from 1982, but nothing special: 1982 -- Spain, 5 pesetas: I don't have any noteworthy xx82 coins, and nothing before 1582. My most interesting 1882 coin (besides a Zanzibar pysa) is a worn-out Bulgarian 2 leva.

FYI, I just PM'd @collects82 so hopefully at some point he/she will show up and pronounce a winner of this challenge! However, feel free to post additional coins before we get a verdict.

Aloha everyone! Very sorry it's taken me so long to jump on board. My family is in the middle of a move from FL to UT and I was at Lagoon amusement park when Spence messaged me giving me the heads up. I love these 82s. Brings a joy to my heart like nothing else can :) China, S. Song Dynasty, Chun Xi Yuan Bao, 2 cash, year 9, bronze = 1182 AD 1382 Michele Morosini. Billon tornesello. Michele Morosini (1308 - 16 October 1382) was the Doge of Venice from 10 June to his death, due to the plague, in October the same year. This was minted in Venice for use in the colonies of Coron and Modon, Negroponte and Crete. I suppose I can add this one to the previous coins from short term rulers too :) I've recently added my first 118 BC and 218 BC coins, but am awaiting settling into the new house until I have them shipped. I figured I should have them in hand before posting them...

Ok that is super @collects82. I'm hoping that you can pick your favorite and post it here on CCF. That person will lead us with the next challenge!

Hmmm all 82's are winners in my world. But rules are rules...
I'm going to have to pick @Finn235
The Western Satraps series with the bold cameos never fails to put a grin on my face. My 282 is of the brother Bhartradaman. Hopefully sooner than later I can stumble across specimens of Visvasimha and Rudrasena II for my own hoard. This series is also by far my best bet for 382, one of my last holes.
