I apologize everyone, but I won't be able to run this round as I am out of town. Considering the scores, maybe mcshilling would like to take over? That's cool with me.

Ok well maybe we should give this thread a breather and plan to revisit bright and fresh in 2019. Thoughts?

Is that official? Are we going to wait until next year?
Or, do you want me to post a challenge now?

I do have one pre-prepared challenge set up, in case of an unexpected outcome like this.

Post your highest denomination coin.

Westphalia, 50000000 marks (notgeld), 1923:
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Pointage:

1) Normal circulating coins, NCLT coins, notgeld, and tokens with a written or unwritten denomination are allowed. Not allowed are banknotes, stamps, private/non-government rounds, patterns, fantasy coins, checks, etc.

2) One point is given for each unit in the denomination. For fractional denominations, round up to the nearest whole unit. Examples: "Half Dollar" = 1 point, "50c" or "50 cents" = 50 points.

3) Items with an implicit (unwritten) denomination or no denomination get 1 point (some early US coins are like this as are many ancients and UK coins).

4) To get more than one point, the denomination must be written on the coin, either with digits or spelled out or come combination.

5) If there are two written denominations on the coin, the numerically larger one counts. Example: a coin that says 1 florin -- 2 shillings and will count for 2 points

6) Posts with no coin will receive 0 points, but will count in the leaderboard. The first one of these posts might win, if nobody posts any coins for this round.

7) There is no bonus for an exact match.

8) In case of a points tie, the first post wins

9) The cut-off for entries is 12:30PM, Saturday Oct 20.
