Apologies. Suffering from technical difficulties. No internet yesterday. Took 20 minutes to post 2 pictures to another thread this morning. Took 10 minutes to access this thread (wife conducted children's Christmas program). Cannot participate until internet connection restored. Must ask someone else to lead.

OWTCH. Sorry to hear that, Arkie.

May I humbly suggest bd251 or finn, whoever is first to step up.
Both had win-worthy entries i-m-o.

I acquired the challenge coin at the Memorial Tournament last year. I've attend this golf tournament all but one year since my dad first took me as a kid in 1999.

For this round, you can play coins, tokens, Encased Coins, and elongated coins and other exonumia.

Points
- Encased Coin (2 points)
- year 1976
- commerates the establishment or anniversary something
- commerative coin
- sporting event
- golf
- Coin and encasement have the same date
- elongated/counterstampped coin's pressed pattern/stamp year matches the host's date
- The encased or elongated coin is white metal
- The encasement is non white metal or alloy (it isn't "silver" colored)
- item was acquired at the actual event (sport or other)

I do not have anything encased, but since 1976 is an attribute...

Here's my entry; a fairly recent pick-up.
It's not too often one sees larger denomination Encased Coins.

Nice entries so far! I'm actually going to open this up to all exonumia as well. Why should I exclude medals or counterstampped pieces? I will edit my initial post to reflect this. Counterstampped coins will get the same credit as encased and elongated if the counterstamp includes the same date as the coin

Didn't see that coming That's 3 points.
- year 1976

arby96 gets 1 point for the Centennial of Our Nation piece.

I really like that encased quarter mysilveryears!
5 points
- Encased Coin (2 points)
- commerates the establishment or anniversary something
- Coin and encasement have the same date
- The encased or elongated coin is white metal
