Well I almost never buy multiple copies of the same coin, so I'm just going for the 5 points participation with my entry: A 10 Reis from Portugal. The die crack is on the rev at about 2 o'clock.

I also don't have multiples of the same die crack, so here are a couple I have with general nice die cracks:

Back in 1999 The internet wasn't as good as it is today, I purchased my first $1000 bag of The State Quarters, When I searched through them I found These Die Cracks, Which I called the Spitting Horse, back in 99 I was trying to blow up the internet and get credit for what I thought I found first, LOL Wouldn't that be cool, right. All the so called experts replied and were rude. Anyway, I have seen several varieties of this spitting Horse, I even tried to get PCGS to grade them and they wouldn't do it back then. I pulled 10 out of my bag and have saved them because they should be considered a VAM one would think. If one does the research there are a nice variety of these Spitting Horses, my die crack goes over the top of the C in Caesar and others fall short, some go through Caesar over the top of Rodney, and others go through both names. I think this Die Crack should get the same respect as the speared Bison nickel, which is only a die gouge. Enjoy The Pics!

I wanted to share another Spitting horse with a Twist on the Obverse, This is one of my favorite finds, If you look at the Horse the die crack seems to have started, When I examine this crack it looks like if it continues it would go through both Names and that is by the angle of at the start, Now check out the Obverse, Sweet! ATER is missing from Quarter, A nice grease filled error, When I shared this one on line back in 99 you should have seen the hate messages I got, all accusing me of using acid to get that result. Laughable! Its obvious its a grease filled error. Enjoy!

@arby, I'm glad to see that you joined this site in 2013 and so hopefully the poor experience that you had was elsewhere on the Interwebs.

@jbuck

It looks like you used acid to disfigure the word STATES.

I have a couple that are similar, but not identical. This gets me participation points:

They're pretty close, no? Still, I don't have four, but that is my goal.
