Obv: IMP DIVI F, Head of Agrippa left, wearing rostral crown (ship's galley), Head of Augustus right, wearing Corona Civica (oak wreath)
Rev: COL NEM, Crocodile in chains, standing on wheat, palm frond behind
Explanation - This coin commemorates the defeat of Mark Antony and Cleopatra, specifically at the Battle of Actium in 30 BC. This event was significant to the city of Nemausus in Gaul because in 27 BC Augustus rebounded the old Celtic town as a Roman style Colonia, and settled veterans of the war there - these coins were minted for decades (even after the death of Agrippa) to serve as a reminder of what happens when you cross the Emperor of Rome.
