I didn't state when I'd close this round, so will give folks until Sunday.
...wait, which time Sunday?

I'm asking because my current plans involve a visit to a coin-selling place (for the first time in weeks, and the second time in months) on Sunday afternoon (circa 9-11 AM UTC), so if there's enough time I might be able to buy something there and post it a few hours later.

(Now, I still don't expect to get a 3 pointer. But I'll think of something.
On second thought, it will be more convenient for me if the next challenge starts by then, but I doubt that this could be arranged within 10 hours!)

Just checking: is it your intent that there aren't additional points for posting multiple of the same denomination?

This coin was issued to commemorate the centennial of Canadian confederation and was originally issued only as part of a specimen set.
