Quote: So, then, my Gallipoli florin, minted in London. That's a lovely coin. I'm a bit confused about the scoring on this one. Not sure when Australia truly was on their own, but going with 1901, It's a 6. If the date is actually when Australia had full legal autonomy it's 4.5. Date- 1 Animals - 1 Silver % - 2 Mint - 2 The Board Keith 2.5 Dorado 3.5 jbuck 2 Arkie 6

For whatever reason, I've got a bunch of Australian coins from 1943, but this Shilling is my highest denomination.

Nice work @gincoin--8 respondents is just one or two fewer than my massive Elvis competition a few back.

1641 Dutch Leeuwendaalder from Gelderland Post your oldest crown-sized (at least 25 grams silver, at least 72% silver) coins. No Maria Theresa thalers unless you can prove when it was restruck. But Jbuck has special permission to post a silver Ike if he wants to.

I think my MTT is a mid-to-late 20th century restrike, so this is the best I can do... France, Second Kingdom, July Monarchy, Louis-Philippe I 5 francs, 1831-D (Lyon mint) KM#744.2, Numista 18352(I'm assuming it counts for its nominal weight of 25 grams, even though my example had technically worn down to about 24 grams by now. Otherwise my best entry appears to be a Morgan dollar from 1921; I'd have to look for the specific coin.)
