33.436 / 1.672 = 19.998 (really should be exactly 20)

points = 22 = 20 + 2 (same composition, same date)

British silver Crown and Maundy penny (Okay the crown is only 50% silver - but its still a majority silver and counts).

I won't win as someone else has already done this combo

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

28.3 grams - 38.1mm

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

0.47 grams - 11.4mm

66 times or so - not a mathmagician

The biggest possible for England would be 1640s.

During the English Civil War (1640s) they minted coins up to One pound in Silver, these weighed about 128 grams and were 55mm in size, at the other end they issued silver halfpennies that weighed around 0.26 - 0.30 of a gram. If any such combination existed it would be 400 - 450 to 1.

Sadly silver pound coins are extremely rare.

I'll play for participation with a twist

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Both are from the Vijayanagar kingdom, southern India, and both are gold.

The big one is a half pagoda of Hari Hara II, 1377-1404. 14mm and 1.71g

The small one is a gold flake that I am calling a gold "bele", 2mm and 0.04g (taking it on faith; my scale won't register less than 1 grain)

1.71/0.04 = 42.75 + 1 point for being together in the picture

Every time I do a contest, theres a debate and a dispute, so I will pass on the next one.

Can I nominate the 2nd place getter Finn235 to take my place and do the new contest please?

You have to learn how to play, and try not to win.

And if you need help, I can assist. I am good at not winning these.

I wasn't expecting to go, but I'll post a simple challenge.

Post your smallest coin that was made with a hole in it! 1mm in diameter (of the coin, not the hole) = 1 point.

Hole must be as-made in the mint - no damaged, drilled, or pierced coins allowed! If the coin is not round, use the widest side.

Challenge coin:

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
China, probably Wang Mang (9-23 AD)
"Goose Eye" Wu Zhu
(He demonetized the old Wu Zhu in favor of his own coinage, then possibly issued these to make a statement of how worthless the old ones were)

12mm = 12 points

Lowest points wins!
