I am going to declare a no-show. First one to post a challenge can do so. If no one posts by tomorrow morning, I will put something up.

Show your favourite Copper/Bronze coin in AU or better condition before 1920 Points for 1. The oldest coin, each year so years before 2020 2. Lustre, full pink red x 2, if not just times 1 Example 1862 UK Farthing with incomplete lustre = 158 points (1862 - 2020 = 158 points, just counting one coin). Rules 1. One coin only and if you have 2 or more the oldest and/or highest scoring coin will be counted. 2. Any member can dispute a coin's condition if they feel its below AU or high EF. 3. No cleaned coins - must be a natural lustre 4. Must be copper, bronze or copper plated, no brass, zinc, gold or "white" metals. If this meets your approval JBuck, we can do this, if not feel free to pass on it, I just thought with mintmark challeneges and silver dollars, a copper coin challenge might be due!

I assume either pure copper or bronze alloy are allowed.

Ugh. I was tempted to post my Hungarian beauty again, but even if it's AU, of course it's brass. My 1924 kopek is copper but probably not quite AU, and I hadn't seen it for years anyway.
It's probably one of jeffrose's red 1950s wheat cents... where was that one box again?
[EDIT: checked Numista, found about three or four pre-1950s candidates, only one of which is pre-1920. I'll post the pre-1920, then, if it comes to that, the second oldest - it's a token - and if neither works I might as well bow out.]

I love to see old lustrous copper! My oldest is this 1888 Finland 1 Penni. This image is a little dark but you can still see the luster. This one is out of focus and a little over exposed but shows the luster a little better.

Sorry for the delay. I just checked back after finally being able to come up with a decent challenge. Oh well.

I hope you write it down somewhere to use if you ever happen to win again.

To clarify, Copper, Bronze and Copper plating acceptable. A coin can be anything from 80% copper up.
JBuck I am not sure about that cent, it looks cleaned, as there is some flattening on the leaves. Is it possible to get a better shot as the colour looks a bit weird.
bd251 = 132 points for you (Lustre needs to be bright red/pink) And you are the leader so far, as I am ineligible.
