@keith, thank you for getting the voting started:

Here are your choices for this challenge:

@arkie's Umayyad Dinar
@bd251's 1881 dated $5
@pep's 1868 dated $10
@Jbuck's 1869 dated IHC
@finn's Japanese 2 Bu minted in the 1868-9 timeframe
@keith's Iranian Pahlavi minted in 1967
@pt's Peruvian Sol dated 1869

These are all great coin and now it is time to vote. I'll tally them tomorrow (Monday afternoon EDT).

With my vote for that sweet Dinar, it looks like @finn is the winner with four votes, followed by a three way tie between @pep, @pt, and @arkie.

The floor is yours @finn.

Thanks all! I had missed where I was actually declared the winner.

Next challenge is simple and inclusive - post your ugliest "hole filler" for a rare, scarce, or expensive coin that you are still proud to own.

Ex:
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Japan, 1 yen 1870 (with removed mount)

Background - the 1870 Yen is one of the classic rarities of the machine-struck series, and rarely sells for under $200 in any condition - except this one that I bought in a large lot and kept for free by selling the rest.

Good luck!

Winner will be chosen by popular vote - let's say Friday night.
