Non-competing entry since life is too hectic to entertain the possibility of hosting a contest right now: Last time I posted, the consensus was the last digit is a 5

I'm fairly confident of 1899 myself (comparing the loop with the definite 8 on the left and the definite 9 on the right - the loop on the 9 is a lot longer). That said, I'm voting for Keith12, with their neat 1872 Victorian penny. (...I'm assuming it's a penny; I can't actually see the lettering.) That would probably have been the type I posted if I bothered to actually take some pics.

Still looks like an eight to me. Okay Morgan experts, what other markers can we use?

I think its 99 as the 3rd figure narrows more down and it looks like 1899 over overall, the last two digits look different to the 2nd which must be an 8 given the Morgan was only issued 1878 - 1904 and 1921, so can't be 1909 or 1999!
Anyway Connor wins with a close second from Arkie. Connor has told me he is not sure what to do if he won and I advised him. However if he wants to pass of does not come up with something, Arkie can do the next one if he likes.
CONDRAGULATIONS CONNOR - URE A WINNER! (Rupaul is in our country)

Thanks for the votes. I too think it's a 1899.
This seems to be a very popular thread and in order to keep it going as it should I would like to forfeit my win and give it to Arkie to keep the game alive.

I don't see the big deal, but, whatever. Post your silver coin created for circulation with the most silver content. French Ecu, .8694 oz.
