I see no votes, so might as well post it and see what happens...   1522 Lithuanian... half groschen, I think. Don't recall the exact denomination offhand. [Just looked it up and "half groschen" is correct.] I know that's supposed to be an eagle, but that schnozz makes it look an awful lot like a turkey. |

Thanks, I didn't really expect to win. I'll do another voting round, similar rules to last round. Post your most worn coin that was never meant to circulate. If that's too restrictive, we can expand it to coins that didn't commonly circulate for some reason (e.g. US 40% silver half dollars).  2010-D NIFC Kennedy half. Voting opens at 7:00 PM forum time on Sunday, 21 February. Voting closes at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, 23 February. |
