The obverse pic is rotated 90 degrees clockwise because when I took it I hadn't yet realized that it was a crown. I hereby claim the option of possibly not taking the next challenge because it's been so little time after my previous one. inb4 someone manages to show up with an ancient

Nice entries all around! Quote:Not on the reverse. Hmmm, I did not realize (for various reasons) that there are actually two very small crowns depicted on the reverse (shield side) of Keith's first coin that are part of the arms of the Imperial City of Besançon. That seats keith12 squarely in the #2 spot behind j1m. It's about time to call this, so... Congrats, january1may! The reins are yours to do with what you will!

Seriously, I did not intend to post two challenges in such close succession. @keith12, you're next, I think (unless you also don't want it, in which case I might try to come up with something, or push it off to Arkie, dunno yet).

Standings Dorado 7*
Princetane 4 * I cannot find the percentage of copper in the CuNi Peruvian coin, but will assume it is > 90% given the brown colour. If anyone can correct or confirm, please do!
