Princetane Pillar of the Community 4628 Posts	Posted 07/16/2021 12:03 am I do Good old treasure hunt 1888 Halfcrown - EF condition Most points win +1 Point silver coin of 80% or finer coin +10 points for the coin dated in 1888 -1 point for each year out so 1888 = 10 points 1889/87 = 9 points 1890/86 = 8 points 1897/79 = 1 point etc Any coin before 1879 and after 1897 is still eligible but won't get points in this regard. +10 points if coin is between 30 - 33mm +5 if between 25 - 29.9mm and 33.1 - 37.9mm 0 if outside this size +1 point per crown +10 points if there is a woman on one side +5 points if its got any Latin on it +10 points if your coin is EF (I expect all entrants to have a moderate undestanding of grading and this is BRITISH EF or AMERICAN AU 53 - 58) +5 points if coin is AU or VF (Thats American MS60 or XF40 - 53) +0 points if its any other condition +5 points if a belt on it +5 points if there are any lions (5 points max 1 lion = 5 pts, 50 lions = 5pts) +5 points for any other mammal +1 point for any animal. Exclusions No British Halfcrowns No coins minted before 1838 or after 1938 Half points for coins from the USA so other countries can get a chance to shine. NO FANTASY or MICROSTATE issues.
