Good entry - I think you have all worked out my obsession for all things Danish. I have a huge stamp collection of theirs too.

I should have shown my 1875 Krone, but this is your guys contest now.

I am offering DOUBLE POINTS for any Eligible hearts coin not from DENMARK!!!!

Here's one just for fun.

I counted 8 hearts, plus I think there is one on the other side too.
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Here's another one I bought for my wife.
Only one big heart though. :)

1922 Finland 1 markka. Minted in Copenhagen

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

It's difficult to see the heart mint mark on my coin because of the condition so I've circled it.

This appears to have a lot of hearts, but no date.

Arkie, your Danish coin has a score of 1460 points!

146 years x10 (9 hearts on shield and heart by date) = 1460 points!

24 more hours to go

Arkie 1460 points
Bd251 - 198 points
Spruett - 71 points
Triggersmob - (I can't score yours as we only have 1 side of a coin and no date, I know its a type made after 1988 and as there are 10 hearts, 9 on shield and mintmark - you would have up to 310 points).

I'll do pretty well on years, but there's just one heart here:

Can't see a date, but will take your word for it. Its a heart with an arrow too, was the maker of this coin in love?

393 points for you and 2nd place!

Sorry, I should have pointed out that the date on these dreipolkers (truncated to just 2 8) is at 10:30 and 1:30 on the orb side, between the orb and the ring around it.

Maybe the Prussian mintmaster was heartbroken that his city had been taken over by Swedes

Thank you, because I was having a difficult time finding it as well.

Maybe he was ecstatic that his city wouldn't be subjected to massive murder, rape, looting, and arson by the genocidal Habsburgs.

That wasn't meant to be any kind of political or religious position ... sorry if it came off that way.
