Well done!

Not having most of my non-US coins photographed leaves me disadvantaged in this round.

If you have even a partial US type set with the "odd" denominations, you can make a run of five. You don't even need any gold. Remember it's not about the the face value of the coin, it's about how the denomination is written on the coin

Nice run Numisma.

I'll match your 12 with a 1/10th gulden from Curacao.
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

and raise the bar to 13 with a 1 1/4 centesimo from Panama.

I'll have to look for some unphotographed coins... here's what I could scrounge up from pre-existing photos:

No 4 for the moment, and consequently no 5 or 6. I'll have to look for a 4; got a bunch of them, some quite interesting, but I'm not sure if I have any photos.
Not a lot of fractions around either... will need to photograph my own.

Thanks! I was lucky to find this coin at a reasonable price.

Numista says that I have a 2/3 and 1 1/4, but I wasn't able to find either. Here's what I did find...

No 7, alas. I do have more legible examples of 6, but this is the one I have with a ready photo.

Not sure about 2 1/2, found a few but hadn't managed to choose yet.

I believe this technically gets me up to 14 entries...

Nice run.
I have a 1/8, 2/10 and a 1/40, but it does actually show it on the coins. :(

I'll do a variant of the previous challenge...

This challenge is to post the longest run of coins with significantly different denominations.

Rules:
1. Post as many coins as you can where the next coin in the run has a denomination at least twice as high as the previous. One point per coin.
2. The coin must actually display the number as a numeral or spelled out (in any language)
3. Fractional values are allowed as long as the follow rule 2.
4. The coins can be from different countries.
5. Your run CAN be extended after your first post if you find further coins to extend it (in either direction, or in the middle) according to rule 1.
6. You can also reorganize your run, i.e. exclude some coins from it and extend the remainder. If so, please confirm which of the coins you have posted are included in the current version of the run.

Here's the best I can do with pre-existing photos, including the ones taken for the previous challenge...
(I've varied the pics a little for the common denominations.)

1/12
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

1/4
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

1/2
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

1
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

2
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

5
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

10
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

20
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

40
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

250
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

500
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

200,000
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

That's a 12-point run. You don't actually have to do that good, though if you do it would be awesome.

Anyway, yeah, whoever gets the most points wins! Ties broken by whoever made it to that number earlier.
