TMCD75 Valued Member United States 245 Posts	Posted 08/15/2017 8:08 pm Here's the 2017/2001/2002 Mexican Silver proof one oz Libertads. Arguably the prettiest coin in the world and one of the very best investment coins out there. The 2001 had a mintage of a paltry 2000 coins. 2002 saw a very, very small bump to 3800 coins. I was looking on ebay and noticed this guy had a PCGS70 2013 Silver proof libertad for sale for a good price. I negotiated a price with him and quickly realized he's only 25 miles away. We decided to meet in person and he ended up bringing these very rare coins to our meeting. I decided to hold off on the 13' and put my cash to these two rarer models. He's got a couple of others that I'm probably going to buy. One of them is the 05', it has a tiny mintage of 3300 pieces. He's also very knowledgeable about the Libertad series. Considering I live in rural Kentucky, it's a miracle I found him on ebay. Report this Post to the Staff
