Just back from LCS. They had generic silver rounds for $31.24, and this for the same price - per ounce = $156.20.
Which would you rather have? 5 generic rounds or a 5 oz 2012 Mexico Libertad?

A 5oz Libertad at a generic round price level is fantastic and I'd grab it without delay. Check prices on Panda America, APMEX or Provident for a reality check.

I've been dreaming and waiting patiently for that to happen to me...

A 5oz Libertad for under $200 ? A beautiful, under collected and under appreciated coin and series.

2012 Hawaii 5oz America The Beautiful ..........20,000
2012 Denali 5oz ATB ............................20,000
2012 Libertad .................................. 9,500

A 5oz coin with a total mintage under 10,000 ? Can you say .....no brainer

Every time I walk into my coin shop I hope to find something like that waiting for me in the generic bin. Excellent choice.

OK You guys were so enthusiastic I went back today and bought 3 more (all they had) One is dated 2011 tho. Since silver is down again today got these for $154.60 ea.
They have an interesting 1969 dated octagonal 10 oz bar but didn't take extra money with me. Also a 100 oz poured bar. Actually quite a bit of different bars.
