It would be an uphill battle getting any 1936 half dollar with a mark or die chip recognized for the reason that there's no mention of a dot for the half dollar in the mint records, unlike say the 36 dot penny- which is mentioned, though I'm not sure about the dime and quarter.
Is the dot perfectly round and pronounced? Need better picks to even make an opinion about what the heck is going on.
Good eye though not many people would bother to even look, right?
