Wonder what the long term interest/value in these will be? There was a CCF member long ago who made a valiant attempt to document the PCGS sample slabs history ... the beginnings of an on-line catalog classification. I believe alas that attempt died with him ... has anyone else picked up that torch and moved forward with cataloging these slabs? Titled Sample Slabs it is 600+ pages and can be found on ebay. I have found it to be very informative and useful. Disclosure: I am a un-paid contributor to the book.
