This coin has the classic upside down E from E PLURIBUS UNUM as well as the M from AMERICA. It looks incuse, but I think that's just what the low-grade specimens look like from bad photos. I could be wrong.

Oh heck no. Common SLQ in AG3, maybe G04 on a good day. Maybe a 5$ coin.

Hah, I did some more research. I guess you're right! Die clashes show on so many SLQs, and they look the same on many of the dates.

What's interesting is that on the PCGS page for the 1924-S, all three images there have die clashes: http://www.PCGScoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/5751

Interesting stuff.
