1972 Cent with what looks to be doubling. I know that in 72 there seem to be quite a few varieties with doubling.

Not seeing a Doubled Die at all. Only other thing it can be is Master Die Doubling which is found on 60 to 70 percent of all 1972 P Lincoln cents. Master die doubling:
1972-Lincoln-Cent.-DD-On-Obverse.-Comments-Please.
Check these areas and see if it is a match. A large percentage of the cents that year have that from a error during the master die creation. Here is how the master hub/master dies/working hubs/working dies are created and the number created:
