EF-40, and I am thinking Details; it looks dipped, and there is a big hit on the button on Liberty's clothes.

My first impression grade wise was EF-40 but after looking at the wear again I think it's a VF-35. Obviously it has been cleaned.

Easily xf-40 but it's been cleaned. I'm not sure if it will grade straight.

Actually I'm going to up my grade to xf-45. We all know how hard it is to grade bust halves due to the strike issues. I had some extra time so I trolled some previous auction coins for 1822's. This is a xf-45 cleaned coin with the possibility of sliding into au.

You really have to grade these by date.
