Hi,

Any help anyone can give on this one would be most appreciated! It was in a VERY large lot of coins and medals that I acquired. I've done some looking, but I'm coming up with nothing.

If it helps any, the writing looks Thai. I'm sure someone else can help you better than that though.

This is a 1 ATT coin from Thailand. Y#18 in my old Krause, issued in the years 1874-1882 (CS1236-1244). In case you are wondering, it is a low value coin, especially with all the polishing.

Many thanks to all. Found it, I think. It isn't worth much, but it's interesting to look at. And given that it came in a collection of over 2000 pieces, I'm not too sad that it's not worth more. True about the polishing, though...
