So the bag mainly had some Canadian Pennies and some Hong Kong Coins but there was this and a few others that I will post later. First off is it silver and what's the value, really any information on the coin will be appreciated.

1964 Bermuda 1 Crown KM#14 fineness .500, ASW=.364oz. Melt=$6.22 Uyours is worth melt value in that shape so in silver value alone, you're ahead. Any other silver is gravy money from now on!

If you just read what's on the coin you'd be able to identify half of them yourself...
Anyway:
10 Peso Colombia 1982 10 Qirsh Egypt 1984 (commemorative) 10 Kronur Iceland 1984 10 Qirsh Egypt 1972 50 Won South Korea 1984 1 Penny United Kingdom 1916
None of them are very special, I'd say. Perhaps only the commemorative Egypt coin, as it's a one year type.

I admit that world coins can be difficult to peg sometimes. The British commonwealth makes it somewhat difficult for having essentially the same obverse for many different countries and using so many abbreviations (in Latin!). The dates should be self-explanatory except for the Egyptian coins. I use this site for dating coins in Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, etc.: http://creounity.com/apps/time_mach....php&lang=enI can pretty well get the Arabic ones as long as the Gregorian calendar equivalent is present. The more you look at world coins, you'll pick up certain identifiers for countries such as the Egyptian coat of arms (falcon) or, anytime your see "ÍSLAND", that's Iceland. The written denominations will also give hints but many are used across several countries (sometimes with minor spelling changes like Kronur and Kroner) so it will only narrow it down. Stick around and do post more! It's an adventure.
