Now that suckers been heated, not brass, caused gasses to expand between plating and zinc core. Little Johnnie's been at it again, this time with daddy's propane torch. Notice how center has expanded like a balloon.

Does not look heated to me. Just a plating issue the mint had back then.The blanks did not get cleaned properly before the copper plating process.
