Won several lots of Lincoln Wheaties in a local auction. I found several DDR's, DDO's and RPM's. I will try to post a few of them. This is a 1935 WDDO-003, note identifying marker of die scratches above eye lid.

Here's the markers from Wexler's 1935-003 DDO

Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) in the hair south of WE. Die gouge (dot) in the field north of the R in LIBERTY. Die scratch NNE from the top of the L in LIBERTY. Series of weak E/W die scratches through the upper ear. Reverse: SSW die gouges near the rim at 1:30 and 2:00. Die crack down the right side of the vertical bar of the T in CENT.

I agree with John1. I am only seeing a DDR, not a DDO. Still a great buy! :)

Sorry, it is a DDR not a DDO. I have been working on DDO's all morning and my brain hasn't switched over.

What are you seeing on the reverse picture to say it's a DDR? I'm having a hard time figuring it out - must be having a brain freeze this afternoon!

Fatting of letters, especially bottom of letters, in E Pluribus Unum also dots between word in EPU.

Oh, OK, got it. So it's the " DDR 003" then. Might want to change your title.
